B2B Lead Generation Specialist / Inside Sales Development Representative – UKI – Cyber security solutions.


Location: Dublin / Sandyford – covering primarily the UK and Irish Market.


Threatscape is a well-established medium-size company that specialises in offering cyber security solutions and services to clients in Ireland, the UK and other European countries.


We have strong partnerships with top players in the IT security industry (Symantec, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Vectra, Portnox, WatchGuard and more). We have won a number of awards already and are growing significantly, adding new team members and new partners along the way.


We are growing our sales team and are looking for an experienced Lead Generation specialist to build and lead the Business Development function within the company. This role will be based in the Dublin office and supporting both the Irish and UK markets.


What does that mean?

It means it is a role for an experienced person. We need someone who likes hunting for new business, whether through cold calling, account mapping, researching etc.


You will join a team of 5 Sales Account Managers and work closely with key contacts in the organisation such as our UK Country Manager, Ireland Sales Director, Commercial Director, Marketing Manager, and the Sales Account Managers.


With time this role will either evolve into a Field Sales position where you get the opportunity to manage the full sales cycle or into a People Management position for the Lead Generation activity.


You will be in charge of:

  • Identifying and qualifying business opportunities through inbound and outbound activities
  • Planning and executing actions to generate new leads (in partnership with the Marketing and Sales departments).
  • Developing a pipeline of opportunities – UK and Irish market mostly.
  • Updating activity in CRM (Salesforce).
  • As this is a new role you will even get to educate others on best practices / tips / tools.


What you need to bring to the role:

  • Minimum 2 years Business Development / Lead Generation experience within the IT Sales area (ideally cyber security). Including making appointments.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and thoroughly qualifying opportunities / hitting targets – and experience with the UK and Irish markets.
  • You need to be a self-starter, who sees opportunities and can remove obstacles. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
  • Passionate about sales and eager to progress into a more senior role with time.
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent English is obviously a must) and organisation skills
