Experienced Technical Sales Account Manager – Manchester – Leeds – Birmingham

Threatscape is a well established medium-size company that specialises in offering Cyber security solutions and services to clients in Ireland, the UK and other European countries.


We have strong partnerships with top players in the IT security industry (Symantec, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Vectra, Portnox, WatchGuard and more). We have won a number of awards already and are growing significantly, adding new team members and new partners along the way.


We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Account Manager to join our UK team and develop sales and our client base within the Midlands and Yorkshire area.


For this we need someone with previous experience selling IT solutions / IT Security Solutions, focusing on medium and large clients, able to handle complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers.


We don’t have bean bags or fancy tennis tables (!) – well since you would be working from home you can have bean bags if you want! The job focuses on both new business development and growing existing accounts.


Key responsibilities:


  • Identify new business opportunities – target clients would typically have 500 to 10,000 users.
  • Sell / up sell / cross sell our portfolio of solutions and services
  • Develop, maintain and grow relationship with existing and new clients.
  • Report on activity / forecast / pipeline / achievements to the Country Manager.
  • Work towards achieving and surpassing sales targets


To achieve this and sell the whole portfolio of our solutions you will be supported by our amazing technical team both in the UK and Ireland, our Marketing team, an inside sales person in charge of generating leads, and you will report to our Country Manager.


We offer a generous basic with uncapped commissions.


To be successful you need to:


  • Be very autonomous and self-motivated.
  • Target and result driven
  • Have previous experience in IT sales – cloud storage, server, firewall, network are more than familiar concepts for you!
  • Ready to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of your territory
