We are growing our Irish sales team and hiring a Business Development Manager, with a focus on new client acquisition, to actively participate in growing our client base in Ireland.
As Business Development Manager, you will report to the Sales Director, and play a critical role in our sales organisation by managing the full sales cycle, from uncovering potential opportunities through to closing deals and managing clients long term. You will work closely with our marketing, sales management, accounting, and technical teams to understand client needs and leverage our portfolio of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to solve their challenges.

About the role:
- Build and manage relationships with large clients in Ireland, and articulate Threatscape’s value proposition to C-Level contacts and Senior Executives.
- Execute consultative sales methodologies and manage complex sales cycles from lead identification to deal closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales management, accounting, and technical teams, to ensure coordinated sales efforts.
- Lead the negotiation and closure of commercial agreements that drive success for both parties.
- Contribute to the achievement of individual and company targets and goals.
- Develop, present, and execute comprehensive plans to acquire new clients.
To be successful in this role you need:
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales / business development experience focused on cybersecurity / IT services or related enterprise technology solutions. Local experience on the Irish market is required, as well as a strong network of relevant contacts.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients, meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a quota-carrying sales role selling to medium and large clients.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Expertise in selling professional services, managed services, or other relevant services
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with consultative selling expertise and ability to articulate complex solutions through written proposals and presentations
