Sales Account Manager

London (work from home or centralised office) – Full-time Position

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our UK team to develop sales and our client base within the London area.

 

We need someone with previous experience selling IT solutions / IT security solutions, focusing on medium and large clients, who can handle complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers.

The role focuses on both new business development and growing existing accounts and managing the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities – target clients who would typically have 500 to 5,000 users
  • Leverage your existing network
  • Identify key influencers and decision makers within prospective client organisations.
  • Sell / up sell / cross sell our portfolio of solutions and services
  • Develop, maintain and grow relationships with both existing and new clients
  • Report on activity / forecast / pipeline / achievements to the Country Manager
  • Work towards achieving and surpassing sales targets
  • Track and update activity on a CRM (Salesforce)

To achieve this and sell the whole portfolio of our solutions you will be supported by our amazing technical team, located both in the UK and Ireland, as well as our marketing team. You will report to our UK Country Manager.

 

We offer a generous basic with uncapped commissions.

 

Qualifications

  • Be very autonomous and self-motivated as the role involves working independently from a serviced office or from home.
  • Have relevant previous experience in face to face sales
  • Have a commercial / mid-enterprise sector focus (preferable but not essential)
  • Relevant previous experience in solutions sales. IT solutions or cybersecurity is a plus
  • Be target and results driven
  • Ready to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of your territory
  • Comfortable using a CRM system (ideally Salesforce)
  • Well organised, self-starter and a natural forward planner.
  • Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives
