This client-facing role will support our customers on their Microsoft Cyber Security journey.
You will be responsible for assisting with Microsoft security implementations and the smooth delivery of our Microsoft security services, ensuring the customer always receives a great experience.
Our Microsoft Security Practice focuses on the Microsoft security tools, however we encourage our team to engage with colleagues for cross pollination with other vendor security solutions, with the aim of delivering holistic solutions and services to our customers.
We operate an integrated Microsoft security team, currently straddling the United Kingdom and Ireland and support a wide range of customers all around the world.
One of the main challenges of the cyber security space is keeping current. To that end you will have access to a full lab environment and time to train and pass appropriate exams.
Delivering a great experience for the customer is how you will know you are doing well.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver our security workshops to customers as part of their Microsoft Managed Security Service
- Assist in the implementation of a range of Microsoft security solutions, covering lab work, POCs and production rollouts. This could cover Microsoft Defender, identity services, Intune and more.
- Stay current with latest product changes from Microsoft and assist in the development of new services and the automation of existing solutions.
- Support customers with solution queries/configuration/deployment – onsite or remote
Experience and skills you need to be successful:
- Experience in administration of Microsoft 365, particularly O365 and Windows 10.
- MS-100 and/or MS-101 certifications
- Experience either in administering a Microsoft environment or implementing / managing a customer’s Microsoft environment.
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Familiarity with dealing with customers – internal or external.
- Excellent written and verbal English, along with good communications and presentation skills.
- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Enjoy troubleshooting!
Also this would be a big plus:
- Desire to become a cyber security expert.
- MS-500 and /or AZ-500.
- Relevant degree from recognised organisation.
- Low code / JSON etc. experience / desire to learn
- Familiarity with security analyst role.
- External security certifications, e.g. SANS
