Cybersecurity Skills Initiative conference – 3rd October 2018 – Dublin

Threatscape’s CEO, Dermot Williams, will be speaking at the Cybersecurity Skills Initiative event taking place at the Irish Management Institute on the 3rd October from 8am to 1pm on the theme of addressing the skills gap in cybersecurity in Ireland, and also to launch the Cyber Security Skills Initiative.

 

 

The Cyber Security Skills Initiative (CSI) is an effort to provide cross and upskilling opportunities for IT operatives to a recognised standard to allow them to act as cyber security officers for their organisations, raising the general level of protection across the country.

 

 

Dermot will be part of the panel discussion entitled “AI is the future of Cybersecurity for Better or Worse”, along with Bob McArdle – Director of Future Threat Research at Trend MicroPatrick Bayle – Principal Systems Engineer at Cylance, and Matt Walmsley – Head of EMEA Marketing at Vectra.
