What will your Symantec Micro Health Analysis look like?
- Threatscape’s Symantec engineer will remotely access your Symantec Endpoint Portal to conduct their health analysis.
- Once granted read-only access, the engineer will assess: Malware, IPS, Threat Defence for Active Directory, Custom App Control, and Adaptive Protection.
- The engineer will then perform a short review of your existing policy configurations, comparing the settings in place against best practice guidelines. Note, that due to time constraints, this review does not include an in depth analysis of specific firewall or device control policy rule-sets .
- An assessment will be made of the overall health of reporting, alerting, incidents and tasks within your Symantec environment.
- Finally, after completing the assessment of your Symantec portal, the engineer will run through key findings with you, offering you an opportunity to discuss any actionable insights and recommendations with an expert, ready for future implementation.

You will spend your complimentary two-hour consultation working directly with one of our in-house Broadcom Knights (the highest level of independently-assessed Symantec expertise). They will assess your Symantec portal, flagging potential configuration issues and comparing your deployment against best practice guidelines.
During your consultation, you’ll be offered a breakdown of their recommendations, with the chance to run through any queries you may have surrounding your Symantec set up. Important to note:
- In order to complete their analysis, our Symantec security engineer will need read access to your organisation’s Symantec Endpoint Security portal. This can be done through a remote session, controlled by our engineer, but supervised by you.
- The analysis offered within the session will not cover the assessment or remediation of any existing alerts or incidents.
- Those not currently Symantec customers can also benefit from the service.
