Threatscape Win Microsoft 2024 Regional Security Partner of the Year

Microsoft Partner of The Year

Threatscape is delighted to announce that its Microsoft Security Practice has been awarded the 2024 Microsoft Ireland Security Partner of the Year award.

This accolade recognises the depth of Threatscape’s security expertise and our commitment to building a more secure future with Microsoft for our clients around the world. This unprecedented fifth win follows multiple prior regional wins, alongside 2020’s coveted Global Security & Compliance Partner of the Year award.

As now five-time winners of the Microsoft Security Partner of the Year Award, with three Microsoft Advanced Specialisations and an industry-leading team, our expertise in this space is backed by Microsoft’s own stringent frameworks for partner success.

We are one of very few specialised security companies with a dedicated Microsoft Security Practice. Our Microsoft consultants and engineers work exclusively within the Microsoft suite, guaranteeing a reliable depth of knowledge and technical excellence in a constantly evolving feature set.

Threatscape’s Microsoft Security Practice provides a tailored selection of professional services based on our extensive experience with corporate security requirements and real-world use cases of Microsoft’s technologies. Working closely with our customers, we’re able to offer support across design, deployment, consultancy, optimisation, and remediation of Microsoft’s security solutions.

We also offer dedicated Microsoft security services, expertly designed by our engineers to optimise your Microsoft suite, from near real-time strategy and posture management, to specific Microsoft Defender support to enable your own team to get the most out of your Microsoft investment.

Microsoft Scholarship Within Threatscape

Sharing insight within the Microsoft community is a key focus across Threatscape’s Microsoft Security Practice. Members of the team post regularly to their own blogs for discussion and thought leadership, and this commitment to the wider Microsoft Security community comes from the top down.

In July 2023 Threatscape’s own Microsoft Security Consultancy Practice Lead and Microsoft MVP Ru Campbell coauthored Mastering Microsoft 365 Defender: Implement Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Office 365 and Respond to Threats, published by Packt.

The comprehensive book draws on Ru’s extensive experience with Microsoft 365 Security, enabling experts and cyber security newcomers alike to better get to grips with Microsoft’s enterprise defence suite.

Ru holds 14 Microsoft certifications, and away from Threatscape runs the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance user group (often joined by William Francillette, another of Threatscape’s leading Microsoft Security consultants), contributes regularly to well-known industry publications such as Practical 365, and publishes insight on his own cyber security blog.

Heading up our award-winning Microsoft Security practice, Ru oversees a team of Microsoft experts, and is instrumental in delivering the technical excellence our Microsoft customers have come to expect.

This book is for anyone who wants to learn how to use Microsoft 365 Defender, the XDR platform that helps you protect your organization from cyber threats. The authors are security experts and MVPs who will guide you step by step through the design, deployment, and operation of Microsoft 365 Defender and its components. You will also learn about the changing threat landscape, the Zero Trust strategy, security hygiene, incident response, advanced hunting, and integrations. Whether you are new or experienced with Microsoft 365 Defender, this book will help you master its features and capabilities.

Threatscape's Microsoft Partner Programme Capabilities

FastTrack

Microsoft’s FastTrack programme assists customers in planning, onboarding, managing, and driving value and satisfaction from their Microsoft deployment. FastTrack partners are trusted by Microsoft, on the back of their engineering expertise and proven track record of delivering guidance and service enablement. Threatscape’s status as a FastTrack partner enables us to provide end-to-end support to customers and ensure maximum ROI on Microsoft’s security solutions.

Cybersecurity Investment Program

The Partner Cybersecurity Investment Program, or CSI, is an invitation-only programme created by Microsoft to offer funding to eligible organisations to enable them to expand their deployment through preliminary engagements with new services. Where appropriate, Threatscape may deliver a Microsoft Sentinel Engagement, a Cybersecurity Assessment, a Threat Protection or Data Security Engagement, or a tailored Overwatch Initial Assessment, utilising our leading Microsoft Security technologies to create a real-time baseline based on 225+ security controls to enable prioritised, evidence-based security optimisation.

Threatscape's M365 Defender Rockstar Team

In recognition of Threatscape’s contributions to the Defender Customer Connection Program, members of our Microsoft Security Practice were presented with the M365 Defender Rockstar Team award.

This award highlights our team’s contributions to Microsoft’s customers and product team, and the feedback, preview involvement and insight provided in shaping the development of Microsoft Security’s products and services based on our extensive experience and customer-focused approach to security.

Threatscape's Advanced Specialisation Status

To aid customers in selecting a partner of choice, Microsoft devised Advanced Specialisations, highlighting partners with extensive and demonstrable expertise in key Microsoft security areas.

Advanced Specialisations are subject to an external audit of subject-related processes, methods, documentation, and reporting, taking into account both the knowledge and professionalism of in-house staff, along with the organisation’s overall expertise in relevant areas. In order to be awarded an Advanced Specialisation, all facets of the audit must be met, without exception.

As of November 2023, Threatscape’s experience and technical capability has been validated through three Microsoft Advanced Specialisations, with the latest, Microsoft’s Advanced Specialisation in Information Protection and Governance, joining our two existing Advanced Specialisations and demonstrating the breadth of our Microsoft skill.

Threatscape now holds the following Microsoft Advanced Specialisations:

Threat Protection

Demonstrating our ability to safeguard customers against cyber threats through our expertise in deploying M365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, or Microsoft Sentinel workloads.

Identity and Access Management

Setting apart Threatscape’s technical skills as a partner able to confidently collaborate with customers to assess and implement Microsoft Identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.

Information Protection and Governance

Showcasing our capabilities in deploying Microsoft Information Protection workloads and providing proactive information protection.
